How to apply for Bachelor’s degree

Application for the English-taught degree programmes in Finnish higher education institutions are submitted online through the joint application system at www.studyinfo.fi during the application period.

Application steps:

1. Get familiar with the study programmes by using the search engine on www.studyinfo.fi.

2. When the application period is open, choose up to 6 study programmes that you wish to apply by clicking “Fill in application form” or “Apply” on www.studyinfo.fi. Remember to set the study options in order of preference, so that the option you prefer most is first on the application.

3. Submit the application and write down your application number for future reference. A confirmation that the application form has been received will be sent to your e-mail.

4. Submit the necessary documents in accordance with the higher education institution requirements. Your application will be evaluated once you submit the necessary supporting documentation within the deadline (30 Jan). Read more on supporting documentation to KAMK.

THE second application period takes place on 20 March – 3 April 2019. The procedure of the second period is otherwise similar to the first period but the entrance exam can only be taken at KAMK. Due to the entrance exam location and timeframe, it is recommended that students applying from abroad, apply within the first application period in January.

Note, the application form is the same in the first and in the second application period. In joint application to Finnish higher institutions, you can apply up to 6 study programmes in the first and the second period altogether.

How to apply for MASTER’s degree

The online application for autumn 2019 intake opens for the period 9-23 January 2019. The Master’s degree participates the FINNIPS network and it is possible to take the entrance exam abroad within the network. Please note that the eligibility for the Master’s degree is given by completing a Bachelor’s degree AND three years of relevant work experience after the Bachelor’s degree. The applicant’s should have good oral and written skills in English language.
